BEFORE TEEN TURNOVER
| HERE’S THE LIBRARY ON 15TH FEBRUARY 2010 ……. | |
|
The Teen Zone is tiny and confined to one small corner.
We do not have many teen books at the moment and there is lots of obvious free space on the on the shelves which doesn’t look too good. |

The seating in the current Teen Zone is the same as in the rest of the library.
The chairs are a bit old and worn now. The bucket chairs are also quite large and heavy and difficult to move around if we want to make space to do events. |
|
The current Teen Zone is obscured by other shelving – you can not see it when you walk into the library. The layout of the shelving also makes the library look quite cramped and dark. |
|
The computers are near the Teen Zone which is great, but behind the computers we have the junior story books – which is not so great !
The younger children have to come around near the computers to choose their books. |

Wowee what a super site, keep up the good work!
Thank you Sherryberry – I’m glad you like the blog. Keep logging on to keep up with all the latest news from the Chestnut Centre Library and Information Centre.
Just thought I’d have another quick look at your blog – it’s really coming along ! You don’t seem to have many books in your Teen Zone at the moment – are you going to get some more ? You could also try shelving some books with the covers facing outwards – this will be much more eyecatching !
