Here’s a really boring bit ….. don’t forget that the Chestnut Centre operates in partnership with Fresh Horizons and, as well as providing both Library and Information Services, it also offers access for the local community to Housing Services, the Police, a Children’s Centre, Health Advice and more.

    :D just like to say thank you!!! I recieved an e-mail from you and looked on your blog to find i’d won the summer read competetition, it’s brightened up my day and I’m looking foward to recievinng the prize! :) thanks again

    just another thought no books at chestnut on the diaries of a vampire this is also aimed at young people.

    I am the Area Youthworker for Ashbrow and I was recently asked if I could consult with young people about the library at Chestnut Centre. I discussed with young people at Fartown High School and the young people wanted it to be more friendly, bean bags more books for teenagers and more computers for young people to use.
